The new brand identity significantly updated the package through the use of three key objectives; increase the environmental communication, strengthen the appetite appeal with in-use photography, and support the premium traditions of the brand with a more contemporary color palette and architecture.
A Festive Approach to a Private Brand
Huhtamaki USA asked us to develop a brand identity for a line of plastic tableware that would support the product’s use for casual gatherings where the mood and the food/drink are celebratory yet laid back. They asked us to create a line that was fun and festive but still representative of a value line of products. The key to success was to develop a retail tone that was aspirational and contemporary while still maintaining the Chinet heritage of consumer value.
